About the Event: The PRSA Hoosier Chapter is pleased to announce its annual Half Day with a Pro event aimed at connecting Indiana’s PRSSA students with our state’s leading public relations professionals. This is a free, in-person event and students are encouraged to join us at our November PRSA Hoosier Chapter luncheon afterward. If you’d like to attend the November luncheon for additional networking, scholarship awards and professional development, please register and pay ($20) for that event separately here.

Who can participate: Students enrolled in Indiana PRSSA Chapters and PR pros interested in connecting with PRSSA students to share their experience.

Why participate? This event offers prospective PR students across Indiana a unique opportunity to make meaningful connections with some of the state’s leading PR professionals. Participating students will be paired with PR professional(s) from diverse industries and backgrounds for a focused interaction on various topics in PR, including but not limited to:

• • Areas of specialization and types of PR roles
• • Company, industry and team profile
• • Professional and career development guidance and advice
• • Resume and/or portfolio feedback
• • Micro-mentorship
