The PRSA Code of Ethics insists ‘ethical practice is the most important obligation of a PRSA member’. September is Ethics Month, so join us as we dive into data and explore what we can learn from current trends in ethics in our daily work lives. Our featured presenter, Elizbeth Coit, will share insights on the changing role of ethics in corporate America.
The Executive Director for Marian University’s Walker Center for Applied Ethics, Elizabeth A. Coit has been appointed to the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE) Board of Directors. APPE is an international organization of over 2000 professionals from around the world dedicated to advancing scholarship, education, and practice in practical and professional ethics.
Coit is one of three new members elected to the fourteen-person international Board and will serve a three-year term. As a Board member, Coit will lead the APPE and its members in seeking innovative, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approaches to today’s ethical dilemmas and embedding the practice of ethics and ethical decision-making into all aspects of society.
