Nonprofits are always looking for innovative ways to connect with donors. Increasingly, organizations are turning to social media as a tool for both communication and fundraising. So how are the top national non-profit organizations using social media to raise funds? This session will discuss the findings of a three-year examination of the top 10 US national non-profit organizations’ use of Facebook to raise funds.
OUR SPEAKER:
Dr. Kathie Fleck, APR is an assistant professor in communication and media studies at Ohio Northern University and the principal at KRF Consulting. She has a wide variety of experience in business, politics, government, non-profit and higher education. She has published numerous articles and presented research at more than 23 regional, national and international conferences. She has served on the board of the Educator’s Academy for PRSA and is the immediate past chair of the Great Ideas For Teaching (G.I.F.T.) division of the Central States Communication Association.
