Job Overview:

The role of the content coordinator is to support clients’ overall communications strategy by working with a collaborative team to develop core messaging, create compelling content, select relevant communication channels and monitor activity. This role will focus heavily on collaboration, following direction and understanding how to position messaging to key target audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write website content, promotional materials, blog posts and other marketing collateral
  • Audit and update existing client brand messaging to check for accuracy and consistency and give relevant feedback
  • Create a consistent message that aligns with each client’s unique business objectives
  • Assist in the creation and execution of approved social media, PR and email campaigns
  • Put together plan recommendations based on results and best practices, presenting to account managers and department lead
  • Work with a dynamic team of creative thinkers in fast-paced agency
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, English or related field strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years professional experience
  • Experience with creating, implementing and overseeing social media, PR and email campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and react quickly to changing demands and environments
  • Excellent research, writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and how to best utilize them to breed results
  • Desire to work in fast-paced, forward-thinking work environment
  • Must be reliable, deadline-driven and encompass a willingness to experiment with new ideas
