Marketing and Communications Associate
The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) currently is recruiting for the position of Marketing Communications Associate. This position is an integral part of the marketing communications team, responsible for supporting the director of marketing and communications in the implementation and evaluation of INHP’s consumer, enterprise and donor marketing communications strategies. The marketing communications associate applies their integrated communications expertise to develop and implement tactics that are on brand, responsive and ultimately support lead generation goals, achieve donor acquisition/retention and engagement, and create brand advocates.
The ideal candidate will possess successful, results-driven communications experience and the ability to adhere, adapt and develop brand standards. He/she must be able to write clear and concise content suitable for various channels and for internal and external audiences.
The individual also will be responsible for INHP’s digital marketing assets, including managing the website, deploying digital advertising on Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIN and NextDoor, managing social media channels and editing email marketing campaigns. He/she will also manage development of a full range of communication tactics such as press releases, press events, collateral materials, speeches and presentations.
The marketing communications associate is a well-rounded, nimble teammate with a desire to innovate and the ability to multitask with ease. The individual will approach integrated marketing communications projects operationally, analytically, creatively and resourcefully. A high level of professionalism, creativity and customer service skills are required for this position.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field. In addition, the incumbent should have a minimum of five years of professional marketing communications experience or experience in a related role, a proven track record of developing, measuring and managing successful communications campaigns. In addition, experience developing collateral materials and/or marketing communications tactics by creating clear and concise content using AP style is also preferred. Previous experience collaborating with print and digital graphic design vendors, event planning/execution, copywriting, editing and experience using a content management system is a plus.
Working knowledge in the following programs is preferred: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, WordPress, Google Adwords and Facebook Ads, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Click Dimensions, Delivera email software, Raiser’s Edge Online Express. Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook also is required.
This is a full-time position with benefits and the position will be housed out of INHP’s 3550 N. Washington Boulevard location.
