Our mission is to provide high quality health care. MDwise works with the State of Indiana and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to bring you the Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan health insurance programs.

Position Summary:

Responsible for taking materials from origin to press/print/distribution using approved established policies and procedures on behalf of the Plan and its wholly owned subsidiaries. Responsible for developing and creating communication content for use on web, social media, press releases, health plan collateral, newsletters, advertising and marketing campaigns. Works to creatively and consistently present written materials in the most appropriate established method that positively markets the Plan. Is responsible for professionally and effectively marketing the advantages of the Plan to members seeking health insurance using communication and marketing tools. Responsible for managing material inventory.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Four (4) years’ proven experience in a lead marketing and/or sales communications role utilizing all forms of marketing communication, including social media.


  • Two years’ experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions (e.g. accounting/finance, reinsurance, EDI, marketing, administration, medical delivery, regulatory compliance, claims processing, membership/eligibility, contracting and risk arrangements and actuarial precepts)
