Social Media Specialist
The Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Social Media Specialist to develop, package, and promote compelling content for digital platforms (the center’s website and existing Facebook and Twitter accounts) that advance the image, reputation, and reach of the cancer center. Equally important, the Social Media Specialist will determine which other digital channels should be utilized to further enhance visibility of the center, its research programs, and its researchers and physicians. The enhanced visibility through a well-executed social media plan will play an important role in the center’s 10 in 10 goals: Become a top 10 cancer center in the U.S. News & World Report rankings and earn an “exceptional” score, which is a 10, from the National Cancer Institute in the next decade.
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field with 2 years of experience
