Description:
The Graphic Design Supervisor is responsible for leading our Graphics team. They will ensure all projects are completed on time, in the highest quality and will periodically be assigned projects to complete to help meet deadlines. This leader will foster a climate of creativity and collaboration where great ideas and designs can flourish and will provide creative strategies that will integrate with and support the Marketing Department and company goals.
Division / Department: Marketing/Graphics
Reports to: Promotional Planning & Production Manager
Travel: Occasional, minimal
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a team of Graphic Artists, Copywriter, Digital Asset Administrator and Project Coordinators in high quality design and content
- Serve as a strong brand and creative ambassador to successfully tell the story of Do it Best Corp. and the individual stories of our member owners and their brands
- Hire, train, develop, motivate, and manage the Graphics team
- Coordinate internal processes, systems and procedures needed to support graphics production and implementation
- Monitor performance measurements and standards to ensure client satisfaction
- Attend semi-annual markets and meet with member store owners
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Minimum
Minimum
- Experience in graphic design, marketing, project management or related field
- Five years of experience leading graphic artists to meet strategic project goals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in graphic design or marketing
- Experience at selling conceptual ideas
- Design experience relevant to the home improvement industry
