The PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards has developed the PRSA Code of Ethics to assist public relations professionals in the delicate yet precise area of ethical dilemmas.

Essential to our profession’s Code of Ethics are its values and provisions. Further, the PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards provides updated Professional Standards Advisories (often referred to as “PSAs”) on a regular basis. The PSAs address timely ethical topics that emerge as technologies, trends, public policies and resources evolve in our industry.

The PRSA Code of Ethics and all PSAs can be found on the PRSA website.

Ethics is a foundational requirement of any profession, but especially important in one like ours which holds credibility so dearly. If you would like to discuss an ethics topic, please feel free to contact the PRSA Hoosier Chapter Ethics Chair at
