Enter the 2026 Pinnacle Awards!

The 2026 PRSA Hoosier Chapter Pinnacle Awards program is now open for entry submissions. These annual awards recognize the best work in Indiana’s public relations industry. The Pinnacles Committee is hard at work on making this year’s event one to remember, with plans for a fantastic celebration honoring the top PR professionals in Indiana.

In this blog, we wanted to pass along information about the awards, share a few tips and debunk a few myths about the awards.

Are the awards only open to PRSA Hoosier Chapter members?

No, the program is open to both PRSA members and non-members of all experience levels. The awards include categories for students and individuals to submit entries.

What is the timeframe for the work being considered?

For professional entries, work must have been initiated and substantially completed so a degree of evaluation could be measured during 2024. For students, work will be considered up to Spring semester 2025.

What are the deadlines/fees for this year?

Early bird: April 2

Members: $65, Non-members: $90, Students: $40

Standard: April 9

Members: $85, Non-members: $115, Students: $60

Late: April 17

Members: $125, Non-members: $155, Students: $85

Individual Awards are $30 per entry with no price differences for members, non-members or students, or entry date.

Is there only one winner per category?

Each category can have more than one winner. Entrants are not competing against each other. Rather, entries that meet a minimum scoring criteria are recognized with awards. The overall top scorer in each of the Program will be named Best of Show. Individual entry categories include the Young Professional Award, which recognizes PR pros under age 30, and the Catalyst Award, which honors exemplary use of ethical, astute and creative PR skills. Entries are judged by another PRSA chapter, not the Hoosier chapter.

Are the student entries judged alongside those from professionals?

Students or groups of students who have worked together on a project are allowed to enter the same categories as professional members and non-members, but are judged separately.

Is there a limit to the number of entries I can submit?

There is no limit to the number of entries, individuals, students, members or non-members may submit.

Any advice for submitting an entry?

Be sure your entry clearly and as completely as possible addresses the four facets of a successful campaign: Research, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. Judges also want to see entries address budget, timing and creative problem-solving.
