PRSA Hoosier Chapter announces 2023 Pinnacle Award winners
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 19, 2023) – The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hoosier Chapter is excited to announce the 2023 Pinnacle Award winners, which recognizes some of the best public relations, communications and marketing work across Indiana from 2022.
A total of 16 Pinnacle Awards, 27 Award of Honors, one Junior Pro Award and one PR Catalyst Award were given out during the Pinnacle Awards ceremony held on Wednesday, May 10, at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, headquarters of the Indianapolis Colts. Social media star, comedian and sports personality Joey Mulinaro was the emcee.
This year, 72 submissions were entered, which were judged by the PRSA Greater Connecticut Chapter. Entry categories were comprised of tactical projects and comprehensive programs. Projects could include annual reports, press communications, feature writing, audio and visual works, and more. Program categories range from external communications, internal communications, crisis communication, special events and more.
“The Pinnacle Awards recognizes public relations professionals who are at the top of their game,” said Hyacinth Rucker, president of the PRSA Hoosier Chapter. “For one night each year, we get to shine the light on the incredible work they have done, which is an inspiration to all.”
The 2022 Pinnacle Awards winners are:
Junior Professional Award – Individual Award, given to a professional under 30 years old

PR Catalyst Award – Individual Award, given to a highly ethical and effective professional
Megan Carrico, Indianapolis Airport Authority
Best of Show – The highest award among projects and the programs that received the highest overall scores.
Best of Show Project Category – The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
