Half Day with a Pro from the PRSA Hoosier Chapter
The PRSA Hoosier Chapter is pleased to announce its annual Half Day with a Pro event aimed at connecting Indiana’s PRSSA students with our state’s leading public relations professionals. This is a free, in-person event during the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023.
What is Half Day with a Pro?
This event offers prospective PR students across Indiana a unique opportunity to make meaningful connections with some of the state’s leading PR professionals. Participating students will be paired with PR professional(s) from diverse industries and backgrounds for a focused interaction on various topics in PR, including but not limited to:
- Day-to-day responsibilities in PR
- Areas of specialization and types of PR roles
- Company, industry and team profile
- Professional and career development guidance and advice
- Resume and/or portfolio feedback
- Micro-mentorship
- And more!
To round out the educational morning experience, both students and pros are encouraged to attend the Hoosier Chapter’s annual luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m. This is the chapter’s annual luncheon which always aims to provide relevant, topical professional development advice for all career levels. Who can participate?
Students enrolled in Indiana PRSSA chapters through their college or university and PR pros interested in connecting with PRSSA students to share their experience.
When is the deadline to RSVP?
November 3 for both students and pros.

Indiana PRSSA students are invited and encouraged to apply for a 2023 PRSSA scholarship grant from the PRSA Hoosier Chapter. To learn more and apply, click here. The winner will be announced at the annual luncheon on November 8.
