Revamped PRSA Hoosier Chapter Website Now Live!
As the host chapter for the 2016 PRSA International Conference, our chapter’s volunteers are working diligently on plans to roll out the red carpet for the thousands of conference attendees who will visit the Circle City in October. One group of volunteers recently took on the role of revamping our Chapter’s website at PRSAHoosier.org. Short term, the newly-designed PRSAHoosier.org will provide conference attendees with information they need to have a great visit to Indianapolis, as well as help secure sponsorships and recruit volunteers. Long term, the website will be a more effective way for the chapter to share information with members.
The new design prominently features upcoming networking and educational events, one of the most commonly-mentioned reasons members join the chapter. Other features include an “I’m New” page to provide new members with tips for making the most of their membership; information about sponsorship opportunities; a revamped job bank page; an opportunity to sign up for weekly chapter emails; and more.
Chapter members Rachel Daeger, Kendall Horvatich, Megan Hamm and Deeksha Kapoor were part of the team that collaborated with Lindleworks to develop the new site. Also, Hirons & Company provided the web audit that influenced the new site’s strategy. A huge thank you to our volunteers and partners for their hard work!
Up next, volunteers are revamping the Chapter’s email communication templates. The new email template design will reflect the new website’s design, and make it easier for the PRSA Hoosier Chapter to share information with its members.
